Thank you sweetheart ... it sure is good to be back ... was starting to experience some MW withdrawl ... I could feel my brain going malnourished.

Hurricane Irene sure did leave a serious mess here in New England - everything has been set back by weeks or even months. So, on this rainy September morning, the orchestra of the school buses has commenced once again ... the Autumn season is intiated not with the turning of the leaves or cooler temperatures or shorter days ... but with kids laiden with back-packs piling into school buses .... (already I can't wait for Spring!)

So, I find myself here ... very happy ... to no longer be a part of that daily routine; of getting up early in the dark when your warm bed calls out to you to come back, mindlessly shuffling out of the house to a cold car then to a brightly lit class room that smells of cheap cleaners, chaulk and sharpened pencils, traversing hallways that echo of ringing bells and laughing chatter, and hours of mis-spent youth by sitting in boring silence ....

School was never for me.

So, today, is a good day and it's a good day to be in the studio doing what I love ... painting and listening to music!
