    Default Earth Hour 2011

    March 26th at 8.30pm GMT

    At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour and people will commit to actions that go beyond the hour.

    With Earth Hour almost upon us, our thoughts are with the people of Japan during this incredibly challenging and sad time for their country.

    Did we have another thread for this, or am I going nutso? I thought I'd already written this reply! Maybe not! Anyway I'm looking forward to it, an hour with the candles. No TV or computer although I think they are permitted - but for me that would be cheating

    WOW indeed. Those pictures are stunning, thanks for sharing them Lorri

    I had a good earth hour, I sat watching candleflame and had a deep and meaningful discussion with my mother. It was all good Each time earth hour makes me more aware of conserving power, even though I'm already quite good that way - can always do better though. Hope you all had fun in the dark!
