I've always loved this song, it is truly magical and begs to be listened to with quality headphones and eyes closed. Makes me feel like I'm actually on another planet and it's amazing how you can still notice different sounds in an Enigma song even after countless listens - like the sound of a man sighing about 2:20.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing when Micheal Cretu was describing the story behind
'Fata Morgana' because it had an uncanny description of a drawing I did when I was 11 years old ...
Of a beautiful girl standing in the middle of a desert and like that she was gone.
(and much like my drawing ... and I literally don't have the drawing anymore.)
