I should state that I do not agree with all the information presented herein this thread. It's all interesting, and brings to light the 'current understanding'. But personally I find it egotistical to believe that we as a species would truly understand such concepts of reality. Just consider how we treat the Earth and all the species upon this planet.
A case of 'show me, don't tell me.' Apply what is understood to the Earth and all Life here on and then try to tell me you truly understand the totality of the Universe.
Sorry. Just stating it as I see it.

The Tao Te Ching ("The Way Things Work") is written like a pendulum that meditates you back and forth, left and right, over and over again, to your innermost Core, and upon access to that innermost Core, you begin to fall through a wormhole of realization, such that you leave your "physical" body and *realize* yourself as sharing a Universal Energy with all things, everywhere, all beings, all objects, all happenings, all events, the weather, innerspace, outerspace, everything. You *realize* the Translucence of it all, that Nothing in the universe can escape the Truth that we/it all share(s), are born from and function under. It's all the very same Core Physics, inescapably. Move any one, move every one.
All time and space disappear. They were never really there, after all!
So, as enormous and overwhelming as the Universe may appear to be, in an attempt to figure it out, even itself cannot escape its own Truth. Once you figure that out, once you realize what is happening universally, anything you approach with that access can be understood under the same Core Physics.
You can "do the work" to find the access to this Universal Truth if you are ready, but (from the Neverending Story) "most men run away...SCREEEEAMING!!!!" And....of course, Bastian tosses the book across the room, disgusted, mumbling "What if they really do know about me and Fantasia!"
*Doing the work* toward accessing the Core requires you to completely dissolve/resolve multidimensional language and to grasp the mathematical patterning used by the *Energy* of manifestation. Those are teachable, but "doing the work" can be excruciatingly painful, as it requires a reclaiming of every projection you've ever made, the most profound reflection of all.
When one is born, they begin to lose all sense of their worthiness to ever actually realize that level of Consciousness/Enlightenment, as life sets in and convention distracts them away from it. So, in addition to resolving all personal projections, one must also resolve all social projections as well, and most never make it, because it feels like death and they're frightened away, like their whole world is collapsing all around them. But it is only the death of distraction, that's all.
It is terrifying for most to re-assume the level of Worthy-ness needed to become fluently Conscious, because the ultimate battle of the soul results in a confrontation with one's God/Deity, and most have been taught, very unfortunately, "not to question" their "God." It is the Ultimate Test of Faith...in yourself...to do precisely that!
All the while, your "God"/"Deity"/Higher Power is standing there winking atcha, going..."Come on! Come on! Cross that line! You can do it! I dare ya! I double dare ya!!

Immediately following the 'adbript Awakening' I had experienced, I found complex concepts of physics flowing through my mind. And yet I had never studied physics. I varified what I was experiencing in thought through a countless number of books on contemporary physics. It all made perfect sense. LOL. Even the math. From there I wanted to understand where humanity as a whole set with 'spirituality' (i.e., that aspect of Life which is beyond meassure.)
I began reading everything I could related to the worlds spiritual concepts. I found that what is refferred to as Eastern concepts 'felt' right, and fit perfectly into the current understanding of physics. With Taoism coming acrossed as being 'spot on'.
The Light/Dark. The Seen/Unseen. The Yin/Yeng. It's the congruos coexistance that allows for the 'Everything/Nothing'. The 'magick of existance'. The 'magick of Life'.
We are the product of Light energy/Dark matter.
We are the product of both the Seen/Unseen.
We are the product of the Yin/Yeng.
